The 2027 Calendar Contest sponsored by Aubri Poon Photography is proud to be working with Saving Grace Animal Society. Proceeds from calendar sales and contest voting will help their Brick by Brick Campaign to build an onsite animal medical clinic.

How it works:

Step 1: Enter your pet

Submit your favourite photo of your dog (or pet). Follow the Contest Rules so your entry is eligible.

Step 2: Share your entry

Send the link to friends, family, coworkers, and that one group chat that never stops buzzing.

Step 3: Collect votes

Voting is open during the contest period. Votes are what determine the winners.

Step 4: The Big Reveal

Winner reveal is March 22, 2026. I’ll be in touch with dates, locations, and next steps. Start warming up your “thank you” post.

Who can enter?

Everyone and every pet! Winners must be able to attend one of the photo session held on the predetermined date and location:

How do I enter?

What kind of photo should I submit?

Pets only (no humans), no watermarks or text, one animal per entry, and please submit a clear, cute photo of your pet, because “Bigfoot sighting” energy might not get you the votes to win.

How can I check if I'm in the lead?

Photogogo is hosting the whole contest and results are shown live, so you can check the leaderboard HERE anytime during the contest.

How do voting and winners work?

Voting determines the winners. The top 13 top-voted entrants will win and be featured in the calendar on a selected month (the top 3 get to choose which month they are featured in).

There will be 13 Cameo winners for the next 13 placed pets and their entry photo will be featured randomly in a month with 2 empty grid spaces (the empty spaces before or after the dates).

Participants are encouraged to invite friends, family, and followers to purchase votes at $1 per vote, with a minimum $5 purchase.

Can I enter more than one pet?

You bet you can, but each pet has to be entered separately.

My pet has passed away. May I still enter them?

Yes, absolutely.

However, due to the nature of the calendar photo sessions, pets who have passed cannot be included as one of the top 13 winners, since the calendar images require an in-person session.

That said, they are very welcome to be included through:

Calendar grid spaces (perfect for memorial dates)
Possible feature placements outside of the top 13, depending on photo quality and calendar design

Because print quality is essential, we recommend entering only if you can guarantee your photo meets the image requirements. If a winning-quality file cannot be provided, the runner-up may be given the spot.

Do I have to live in Alberta?

Yes!

As an Alberta based rescue and a Calgary based photographer. Plus, winners must be able to attend one of the three winning photo sessions in Calgary, Alix or the Kananaskis.

What is a calendar date spot?

A small photo space on a specific calendar date. It’s a sweet way to include a pet without entering the contest. Each grid space is $20.

When does voting end?

March 21, 2026. at 9pm MST.

What does it cost to enter and vote?

There is a $10 entry fee per pet and each vote is $1 with a minimum of $5 purchase.

All entry fees, grid space, vote, and calendar purchases go directly to Saving Grace to build their animal medical clinic.

When will winners be announced?

March 22, 2026.

When will the calendar be available?

October 2026.

What happens after I win?

I’ll contact the top 13 winners the week of March 22nd, to schedule the calendar photo sessions and walk you through everything.

All calendar contestants are eligible for a full session with Aubri Poon Photography for a special price of $95 and that includes one 5x7 image.

Any of the top 13 winner who are unable to make one of the predetermined dates or locations must purchase an session or forfeit their place in the calendar.

My pet is a farm animal. Can I still enter them?

Yes, farm animals are welcome, provided they are:

Domesticated
Kept as a beloved companion animal (not livestock)

If a farm animal places in the top 13, they must be able to travel safely and attend one of the scheduled session dates/locations while being under control.
